Domestic cats

A female domestic cat can become pregnant at as early as five months of age. Another shocking fact is that one female alone can produce upwards of 100 offspring in her life.

Domestic dogs

A female dog can reproduce every twelve to eighteen months and it is not unusual for them to have ten to twelve puppies at one time.

Canada geese

One set of eggs laid by Canada geese can yield numerous goslings at a time. The goslings mature so quickly that it becomes difficult to distinguish between babies and parents.

Sea turtles

The number of eggs a sea turtle lays varies from species to species. But a female sea turtle may have 2-8 clutches of eggs per season.

Arctic foxes

As per the Alaska Fish and Game, an Arctic fox can have as many as 15 pups at a time. The average for this animal, however, is closer to 7 or 8 pups.

Domestic hamsters

It is very common for hamster offspring to be born within 16 days from conception. In addition, a young hamster is capable of reproducing on its own after just 3-4 weeks.
