Apply a thick layer of moisturiser to create a barrier between your skin and the colours. This will help prevent the colours from penetrating deep into your skin and making it dry.
Use a broad-spectrum sunscreen with SPF 30 or higher to protect your skin from the harsh sun rays. Apply it generously on all exposed areas of your body at least 30 minutes before stepping out.
Apply coconut or olive oil to your hair and scalp to protect them from the colours. This will make it easier to wash off the colours later and prevent damage to your hair.
Wear long-sleeved clothing and trousers to cover up as much skin as possible. This will minimise direct contact with colours and reduce the chances of skin irritation.
Apply dark nail polish to protect your nails from getting stained. You can also apply a thick layer of Vaseline or oil to your nails to prevent colours from seeping in.
Drink plenty of water to keep your skin hydrated. This will help maintain the natural barrier of your skin and prevent it from drying out due to exposure to colours and the sun.
