The spike in the rate of infertility among women is a concern all over the world. Inferility can be caused by various factors. Here are six potential reasons for infertility in women:

New Moon: August 4

The New Moon will occur at 11:13 GMT, providing an excellent opportunity for stargazing without moonlight interference.

Age-Related Factors

As women age, the quantity and quality of their eggs decline, making it more challenging to conceive a baby. Fertility significantly decreases after the age of 35 and the risk of miscarriage and chromosomal abnormalities increases.

Fallopian Tube Issues

Blockages or damage to the fallopian tubes can prevent the egg from meeting the sperm hindering fertilisation. This can result from conditions like pelvic inflammatory disease (PID) or endometriosis.

Uterine Problems

Structural issues in the uterus such as fibroids or polyps can interfere with implantation and cause difficulties in pregnancy.

Endometriosis

Endometriosis is a condition where tissue similar to the lining of the uterus grows outside the uterus. It can affect fertility by causing inflammation, scarring, and the formation of adhesions.

Hormonal Imbalances

Imbalances in hormones crucial for reproduction such as estrogen and progesterone can impact the menstrual cycle, ovulation, and the ability to conceive. Lifestyle factors, environmental influences, and genetic factors can also play a role in fertility challenges.
