Fried Foods

Fried foods such as French fries, fried chicken or tempura tend to lose their crispy texture when frozen and reheated. They become soggy or limp, reducing their original quality.

Raw Eggs in the Shell

Freezing whole raw eggs in their shells can cause the shells to crack as the egg expands. Additionally, freezing can affect the texture of the egg whites and yolks, making them less desirable for cooking or baking.

Foods With High Water Content

Certain fruits and vegetables with high water content such as watermelon, cucumbers and tomatoes, tend to become mushy and lose their crispness when frozen.

Cooked Pasta and Rice

Freezing cooked pasta and rice can cause them to become mushy and lose their texture when thawed and reheated. It’s better to cook these fresh when needed or store them in the refrigerator for short-term use.
