1. Jumping Spider (Salticidae)

Some species of jumping spiders have four pairs of eyes, giving them wide vision for hunting prey.

2. Scallops

Scallops have numerous tiny eyes along the edges of their mantle, which help them detect changes in light.

3. Chiton

Chitons, marine molluscs with shell plates, possess hundreds of tiny eyes along their mantle.

4. Box Jellyfish

Certain species of box jellyfish, such as the famous box jellyfish (Chironex fleckeri), have clusters of eyes, usually 24, arranged in groups of four on each side of their bell.

5. Horseshoe Crab

Horseshoe crabs have compound eyes, consisting of thousands of tiny units called ommatidia.

6. Mantis Shrimp

Mantis shrimp possess complex compound eyes that are capable of seeing polarised light, ultraviolet light, and a wide range of colours.
