Mushroom is referred to as the "meat" of vegetables. It is the fleshy, spore-bearing fruiting body of a fungus, which grows above the ground on soil. All edible mushrooms provide you with essential nutrients, but these particular ones are among the highest in antioxidants and nutrients.

 

White Button Mushrooms

The most popular and mildest-tasting mushrooms found in Indian markets are white button mushrooms, which also have a low calorie and sugar content. In addition to being high in protein, they lower blood sugar levels.

Shiitake Mushrooms

Shiitake mushrooms have a chewy, meaty texture and go great with nearly everything. They are low in calories, high in fibre and vitamin B, and beneficial for strengthening the immune system and decreasing blood cholesterol

Oyster Mushrooms

Oyster mushrooms are mostly fat-free and an excellent source of vital vitamins and minerals, such as thiamin, vitamin B6, riboflavin, and niacin. They enhance heart health, improve immunity function, decrease cholesterol, and improve metabolic health, among many other health advantages.

Enoki Mushrooms

Enoki mushrooms contain high levels of iron, selenium, thiamin, calcium, copper, phosphorus, vitamin B3, vitamin B5, vitamin B1, and vitamin B2. The mushrooms also contain healthy amino acids and dietary fibre and are low in cholesterol which helps improve the immune system, reduce body fat and increase metabolism.
