WHO has declared the new COVID-19 strain JN.1 a 'Standalone Variant of Interest' due to its rapidly increasing spread.
Some symptoms of COVID-19 JN.1 are sore throat, runny nose, headache, muscle aches, and sneezing. All the symptoms are the same as a regular seasonal cold or flu.
There is a possibility that elderly people and children might not be able to battle this virus as well due to low immunity.
