Buy fresh, healthy lady finger seeds from a trusted source for better growth.
Use a pot that drains well and fill it with a nutrient-rich potting mix.
Soak seeds in warm water for five to six hours to promote germination. Place them on a damp paper towel in a warm spot, covering them with another damp towel. After two to four days, once roots sprout, transplant the seedlings into the container with a potting mix.
The plants should be placed in an area that receives six to eight hours of direct sunshine each day. During this time, don’t overwater the soil, but keep it damp.
To encourage more growth, pick delicate, young pods (three to four inches long) frequently.
