It is delightful to have a beautiful home garden filled with live plants and fresh, colourful flowers. But at times, due to harsh weather conditions or over-watering, plants start to die.
The starchy rice water can prove to be an elixir for the dying plant. It is advisable to add some rice water to the plant at least 5 to 6 times every day.
The mixture can be made by soaking at least three to four banana peels overnight. The potassium-rich water should be then sprayed on the plants and leaves.
The mixture is created by adding two to three tablespoons of sugar in 2.5 litres of water and keeping it overnight. It is sprayed on and around the leaves. However, one should avoid spraying it on the roots as it might attract flies and pests.
Sometimes lack of water leads to the wilting of the plants. Hence, if the plant is in a small pot, one can keep the pot inside a bucket filled with water to resurrect the plants.
