Day 1: Zurich

Begin your trip by visiting the gorgeous Old Town (Altstadt), which is densely packed with landmarks. Visit the Kunsthaus Zurich and take a stroll along the shores of Lake Zurich.

Day 2: Lucerne

Begin by crossing the city's landmark, the Chapel Bridge (Kapellbrücke). Visit the Richard Wagner Museum or the Swiss Transport Museum. Return to Zurich and dine at a local restaurant.

Day 3: Interlaken and Bernese Oberland

Visit Interlaken, which is located between Lake Thun and Lake Brienz. Travel by train to Jungfraujoch, Europe's highest railway station, located in the Bernese Oberland region.

Day 4: Interlaken

Consider a thrilling adventure sport such as paragliding, skydiving, or canyoning. Take a cruise on Lake Thun or Lake Brienz. In Interlaken, try the local Swiss cuisine.

Day 5: Lausanne

As Lausanne is the headquarters of the International Olympic Committee, you should pay a visit to the Olympic Museum. Explore Lausanne's old centre and pay a visit to the Lausanne Cathedral. Spend the night in Lausanne.

Day 6: Geneva

Visit the UN Office in Geneva and the Red Cross Museum. Discover Geneva's historic centre and the Jet d'Eau, a magnificent water fountain in Lake Geneva. Dine out at one of Geneva's many gourmet restaurants.

Day 7: Zermatt and the Matterhorn

Travel to Zermatt, a car-free mountain village. To get close to the Matterhorn, one of the world's most iconic mountains, take a cable car or train journey. Return to Zurich or Geneva for your departure the next day.
