Former UFC Heavyweight champion Francis Ngannou (Cameroon) has booked his second boxing match against British boxer and former two-time unified Heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua. According to reports, the 10 rounds long fight is set to take place in Saudia Arabia.
An official date for the fight has not been announced yet, but it seems it is targeted for March. Details of the bout are expected to be disclosed during a press conference in London on Jan 15.
After leaving the UFC last year. Ngannou had openly admitted to starting a career in boxing. On Oct 28, 2023, the Cameroonian took on WBC Heavyweight Champion Tyson Fury (UK) in Saudi Arabia’s Riyadh. Though Fury won the 10-round fight, Ngannou shocked the boxing world with his impressive performance for all the rounds against the Englishman.
