Voyager 1, which was launched on September 5, 1977, will run out of energy in the coming years and stop communicating with Earth.

On February 14, 1990, Voyager 1 took the first portrait of the solar system. Soon afterwards, its cameras were turned off to save energy. But what would happen if the cameras were turned back on? Prominent astronomy YouTuber Astrokovi said the cameras could show an image of our cosmic neighbourhood.
Voyager 1 is around 24.4 billion kilometres away from Earth. It is the first human-made object to venture into interstellar space.
