Feb 2- Mercury at Aphelion

On February 2, planet Mercury will reach its aphelion, that is, it will be farthest from the Sun. This event will impact Mercury's orbital speed and slow it down.

Feb 7- Moon Near Venus

On February 7, an 11 percent-illuminated Moon will be close to Venus. Both objects will be in the constellation Sagittarius and can be observed with the naked eye.

On February 22, Venus will meet Mars in the constellation Capricornus. The planets will be clearly visible to the naked eye, but for a closer look, use a pair of binoculars.

The Full Snow Moon will occur on February 24, at 12:30 GMT. Our natural satellite will be in the constellation Leo and the lunar disk will appear full for one day before and after it.
