Although this meteor shower has been quieter in recent years there is a possibility you might be able to witness it more clearly this year between October 6 and 10. It is expected to peak around October 8-9.
This meteor shower is produced by Halley's Comet and will be visible between September 26 and November 22 near the constellation Orion. It is likely to peak on October 20-21.
This annual meteor shower can be seen every November and comprises two streams. The Southern Taurids will be active between September 28 and December 2, peaking on November 4-5. While the Northern Taurids would be visible between October 13 and December 2, and peak on November 11-12.
This bright meteor shower is active between November 3 and December 2, peaking on November 17-18. It has a rate of about 10 to 15 shooting stars an hour in clear skies.
Active between November 19 to December 24, Geminids are the strongest meteor shower, with a rate of over 100 meteors per hour. It will peak on December 13-14.
