1. Frill-necked lizard

The frill-necked lizard has a slender body and a relatively large head. It can grow up to 85 centimetres in length, with its frill extending almost like a collar around its neck when fully expanded.

2. Blobfish

The blobfish has a soft and gelatinous body. Its shape is typically described as blob-like or gelatinous. The lack of muscle and density allows the blobfish to adapt to the high-pressure environment of the deep sea.

3. Goblin shark

The goblin shark has a long, slender body with a flattened snout and a prominent, protruding jaw. Its most distinctive feature is its elongated, flattened snout that resembles a goblin-like nose.

4. Komondor Dog

Komondor is a large, muscular dog with a sturdy build. It has a distinctive corded coat that forms long, dense, and matted cords resembling dreadlocks. These cords help protect the dog from harsh weather conditions and potential predators.

5. Echidna

Echidnas have a compact, stocky body covered in coarse hair and spines. They have a long snout that ends in a small, toothless mouth. Their limbs are short and strong, with sharp claws that they use for digging.

6. Aye-aye

Aye-aye has a striking appearance with its bushy tail, large eyes, and long, bony fingers. One of its most notable features is its elongated middle finger, which is used for a specialised feeding technique.

7. Axolotl

Axolotls have a cute look, with a plump body, short limbs, and a wide head. They possess feathery external gills on the sides of their heads, which serve as respiratory organs. Axolotls have a range of colours.

8. Platypus

Platypus has a body that is covered in thick, waterproof fur, which helps it stay warm and dry in the water. It has a broad, flat tail and webbed feet, which make it an excellent swimmer.

9. Dumbo octopus

Dumbo octopus has a small, rounded mantle and lacks the typical muscular mantle "skirt" seen in other octopus species. Its most distinctive feature is a pair of large, ear-like fins located on either side of its body.

10. Sloth

Sloths have a distinct appearance with their long limbs, curved claws, and shaggy fur. They are arboreal animals, adapted for life in trees.
