Fissures and contradictions in the opposition are beginning to appear. Apparently, all is not well with the Indian National Developmental Inclusive Alliance ('INDIA').
The 'INDIA' bloc is still reeling from the impact of its co-founder Nitish Kumar's exit. Moreover, Nitish choosing to ally with the ruling BJP-led NDA has not bode well for the opposition aiming to remove PM Modi from power.
While the Congress and the Aam Aadmi Party are contesting as a joint bloc across Delhi's seven Lok Sabha seats, in Punjab, the two remain bitter rivals.
The 'INDIA' bloc is falling flat in Jammu and Kashmir as well. The People's Democratic Party led by former chief minister Mehbooba Mufti will contest against Farooq Abdullah's National Conference across all three Lok Sabha seats in the Kashmir valley.
Similarly, West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee's Trinamool Congress too is contesting alone in West Bengal without Congress as well as the Communist Party of India (Maoist).
