You could follow any nightime routine in the world and get a 7 or 8 hour sleep daily but if you’re sleeping wrong (not being mindful of your sleeping position), then you could be wasting all that effort and losing the well-rested youthful glow. Here is how bad sleep position could be aging you faster:

When you sleep in the right position vs when you sleep in the wrong position, your face and other parts of the body experience repeated repeated muscle contractions and various types of lines emerge. As we age, skin loses its ability to revert, leaving behind these persistent lines.

Establish a consistent skincare routine that includes cleansing, moisturising and applying sunscreen. Include anti-ageing products containing ingredients like retinoids, antioxidants and peptides to address fine lines and wrinkles.

Side Sleeping

Sleeping sideways is not that bad but it’s best if you switch between the two sides – left and right. Also invest in a satin pillowcase for minimal pressure on face.

Keeping your body at a 20-30° angle while sleeping on your back promotes optimal fluid flow, contributing to better circulation throughout.
