1. Identify Triggers

Pinpoint specific factors that trigger oral sensitivity, such as certain foods, temperatures, or textures. You can help yourself by avoiding these foods and activities.

2. Choose Sensitive Oral Care Products

Opt for toothpaste and mouthwash designed for sensitive teeth.

3. Soft-Bristled Toothbrush

Use a soft-bristled toothbrush to minimise irritation and reduce the risk of damaging sensitive teeth and gums.

4. Avoid Extreme Temperatures

Hot and cold temperatures can exacerbate oral sensitivity. Opt for lukewarm or room temperature foods and beverages.

5. Limit Acidic Foods and Beverages

Acidic foods and drinks can erode tooth enamel, contributing to sensitivity. Cut down on acidic items like citrus fruits, tomatoes, and carbonated drinks.

6. Consult with a Dentist

If oral sensitivity persists or worsens, consult with a dentist. They can assess the underlying causes and recommend appropriate treatments.
