7. Broccoli

Broccoli is not only low in calories but is also filled with antioxidants and contains high levels of vitamins A and C. The green vegetable is full of fibre and keeps you satiated.

Vrikshasana (Tree Pose)

Stand in Tadasana. Shift your weight to your left foot and place your right foot on your inner left thigh. Bring your palms together in front of your chest or raise them overhead. Focus on a point in front of you to maintain balance. Hold for a few breaths, then switch sides.

Setu Bandhasana (Bridge Pose)

Lie on your back with your knees bent and feet flat on the floor, hip-width apart. Place your arms by your sides, palms down. Inhale and lift your hips towards the ceiling, squeezing your glutes and engaging your core. Hold for a few breaths, then lower your hips back down.

Bhujangasana (Cobra Pose)

Lie on your stomach with your hands under your shoulders and elbows close to your body. Press into your hands and lift your chest off the ground, keeping your elbows slightly bent. Look slightly upward and hold for a few breaths. Lower back down on an exhale.

Adho Mukha Svanasana (Downward-Facing Dog)

Start on your hands and knees. Lift your knees off the floor and straighten your legs, forming an inverted V shape. Press your hands firmly into the ground and relax your head between your arms. Hold for a few breaths, then release.

Shavasana (Corpse Pose)

Lie flat on your back with your legs slightly apart and arms by your sides, palms facing up. Close your eyes and relax your entire body. Focus on your breath and let go of any tension. Stay in this pose for several minutes.
