Grind the Coffee Beans

If you have whole Araku coffee beans, grind them to a medium-coarse consistency. Freshly ground coffee beans yield the best flavour.

Boil Water

Boil water in a kettle or pot. Use about 200 ml (about 6.7 oz) of water for each cup of coffee.

Prepare Coffee Maker

If using a drip coffee maker, follow the manufacturer’s instructions, typically adding one tablespoon of ground coffee per cup of water.

Brew the Coffee

For a drip coffee maker, start the machine and let it brew according to the instructions.

Serve

Pour the freshly brewed Araku coffee into a mug. Add sugar, milk, or cream to taste, if desired.

Water Temperature

The ideal water temperature for brewing coffee is around 93°C. Boiling water can scorch the coffee grounds, while too-cool water won't extract the full flavour.
