Take a glass of water add a spoon of honey to it and stir it once. If the honey settles at the bottom and does not dissolve in water then it is pure and safe to consume.
An easy two-minute test that you can conduct to check the purity of honey. Pour a drop of honey on a piece of paper, if the paper absorbs it then it is adulterated and we recommend changing the brand you consume.
Microwave a small amount of honey for 30 seconds or heat it in a pan. If it caramelizes then it is a pure form of honey with no adulterations.
Pour a spoon of honey on your finger, if it doesn't absorb and feels sticky and thick your honey is safe to consume.
Try tasting a small amount of honey, if you can taste a hint of floral fruitiness then it is a pure form of honey. Impure honey contains no such taste and is excessively unnaturally sweet.
