Acupressure is an alternative medicine technique often used in conjunction with acupuncture or reflexology. It is based on the concept of life energy, which flows through ‘meridians’ in the body.
Location: On the lower leg, about four finger-widths below the kneecap and one finger-width towards the outside of the shinbone.
Location: On the inner side of the lower leg, about three finger-widths above the ankle, in a tender spot between the shinbone and the back of the calf muscle.
Location: Positioned on the midline of the body, around the midpoint between the bottom of the breastbone and the navel.
Location: Situated in the middle of the upper lip, just below the nose.
Location: It’s on the inner side of the knee, in a depression just below the joint.
