There could be instances where honey even labelled as ‘pure’ could be adulterated. To test the purity of honey, you can perform this simple test by using just water:
Take a glass of water and put a tablespoon of honey into it.
When you mix, pure honey will show different results than adulterated honey.
Pure honey will not dissolve in the water and settle at the bottom, forming a lump.
If the honey is adulterated, it dissolves and blends with the water easily.
This happens because adulterated honey contains syrup or moisture which is dissolvable in water.
