Prepare the Idli Batter

Use a mix of rice and urad dal, allowing it to ferment overnight.

Steam the Idlis

Pour the fermented batter into idli moulds and steam them until they are fully cooked.

Cut and Sauté Idlis

Slice the idlis once they are ready, now heat some oil in a pan and saute the idli pieces until they turn golden brown and crispy.

Mix Peri Peri Masala

Mix peri-peri powder, salt, red chilli powder and a bit of lemon juice to create a tangy and spicy seasoning blend.

Toss and Serve

Toss the sauteed idli pieces in the peri masala until they are evenly coated. Serve hot with coconut chutney or yoghurt dip.
