Kodo millet upma is a healthy and tasty breakfast option tempered with vegetables and spices. Here’s how to make it in five easy steps:

Ingredients: Kodo millet, chopped vegetables (carrot, beans, onions), salt, oil, mustard seeds, urad dal, curry leaves, asafoetida (hing), and green chillies.

Step One: Rinse the Kodo millet well, drain the water, and set it aside.

Step Two: In a pressure cooker, put oil, mustard seeds, urad dal, curry leaves, and green chilli, and let it splutter.

Step Three: After a few minutes, add onions and other veggies and saute them with salt for some time.

Step Four: After the vegetables are cooked properly, add millet and mix it well.
