One cup of millet of your choice (pearl, foxtail, bajra, or ragi), four cups of milk, sugar, cardamom, almonds or cashews.
After giving it a thorough rinse to get rid of any dirt, boil it in two cups of water until it becomes soft. After draining, set aside.
In a separate pot, bring 4 cups of milk to a gentle boil.
Add the cooked millet to the boiling milk, then add sugar and cardamom. Simmer for 10-15 minutes, allowing the flavours to meld.
Sprinkle chopped nuts on top. To enjoy a delicious dessert, serve warm or cold.
