Russian salad makes a great side dish with any meal. It can also be enjoyed as a snack. Here is how you can make this creamy and delicious salad at home:
Boil 1 carrot, 1 potato, 1/4 cup French beans, and 1/2 cup green peas until they soften.
Drain the water and let the vegetables cool down.
Peel and dice the vegetables. Finely chop a small celery stick.
In a bowl, add the chopped vegetables, celery and 3/4 to 1 cup eggless mayonnaise. Add salt and pepper to taste.
Garnish the salad with tomato, capsicum, cucumber, and lettuce leaves, and serve!
