5 Simple Steps to Make Sprouts and Chickpea Salad Sandwich

Step 1

 To make a nutritious salad, combine sliced tomatoes, onions, and bell peppers with cooked chickpeas, sprouts, lemon juice, olive oil, salt and pepper.

Step 2

To give your sandwich a crispy texture, you can toast some pieces of whole grain or multigrain bread very lightly.

Step 3

Spread a layer of sprouts and chickpea salad evenly on one slice of the toasted bread.

Step 4

Add more crunch and flavour to the salad by adding fresh greens such as spinach or lettuce, on top.

Step 5

Put the second piece of bread on top, cut it in half, and serve.
