Suji or Semolina is a granulated coarse flour made from durum wheat that is used in a variety of dishes, both sweet and savoury. Here are five easy suji recipes that you can enjoy along with your evening tea:

1. Upma

Upma is a dish of South Indian origin. It is a steamed dish which contains suji, carrots, peas, onions, etc. To add more flavour to Upma it is tempered using curry leaves, green chillies, lentils and mustard seeds.

Over washing

Try not to wash your hair more than two to three times a week, as overwashing can strip natural oils, making it brittle and dry.

3. Baingan (Brinjal) Fry

This dish is made by frying sliced baingan after marinating it in spices and then coating it with suji. The granulated coarse flour makes the baingan crispy. It is a great dish that you can enjoy with your tea.

4. Suji Halwa

Suji halwa is a popular dessert in India. It is prepared using suji, milk, sugar and ghee. You can also add dry fruits to the halwa to make it tastier. It tastes best when served hot.

5. Suji Dhokla

The traditional sweet and savoury Gujarati dhokla, but with a twist. Instead of gram flour, suji is used to prepare this dhokla and then tempered with curry leaves, red chillies and mustard seeds.
