It’s been raining incessantly in most parts of India and if you like us, are craving some hot chocolate to sip on to enjoy the Indian Independence Day holiday weekend, then here are five easy steps to make perfect hot chocolate at home.
Take half a cup of water and bring it to a boil in a saucepan. Whisk in the cocoa powder and sugar. Mix the sugar vigorously so that it mixes quickly with the liquid.
Turn the heat down and whisk in the milk. Cook until the milk is heated but not boiling.
Mix in the chocolate chips and continue to whisk until the chocolate chips melt and the mixture becomes silky smooth.
Take off the burner and stir in vanilla extract.
