Two cups of vanilla ice cream, one cup of milk, one-fourth cup of chocolate syrup and whipped cream.
In a blender, combine the vanilla ice cream and milk. Blend until smooth and creamy.
Pour in the chocolate syrup and some sugar, and blend again until the mixture is a rich chocolate colour.
You can add a bit of extra milk if the milkshake is too thick or blend in a small amount of ice cream if it's too thin.
Fill a glass with the milkshake. If desired, pour chocolate syrup and whipped cream on top. Serve with a straw.
