After Thursday’s wolf moon, the next full moon will be on February 24. It’s known as the snow moon due to the large snowfalls that often occur in February. 

Rasgulla

Rasgulla is a spongy and soft Indian sweet prepared with curdled milk and sugar syrup. First balls are prepared by kneading milk solids, which are then cooked in sugar syrup until they become soft and spongy.

Gulab Jamun

One of the most loved Indian sweets, gulab jamun, is prepared with milk powder or khoya (milk solids). Softballs are prepared with flour, khoya, and a leavening agent. They are then soaked in sugar syrup that is rose-infused.

Besan Burfi

This delicious North Indian sweet is easy to make with gram flour, sugar, cardamom powder, and ghee. To make this, roast gram flour in ghee and combine it with homemade sugar syrup and cardamom powder. Set it in a tray and garnish it with chopped nuts!

Coconut Burfi

Coconut Burfi is made with coconut, milk, sugar or jaggery, and cardamom. To make it, grated coconut is cooked with milk until thickened. Then add sugar and ghee, and set the mixture on a tray to make the burfi.

Jalebi

Jalebi is a crispy and fried sweet that is made in a spiral shape. It can be made with all-purpose flour, gram flour, and sugar syrup. First, a batter is prepared and fermented after which it is poured in spirals into hot oil. They are then dipped in sugar syrup.
