The Ram Temple consecration ceremony will be held on Monday (Jan 22) in Uttar Pradesh's Ayodhya, and preparations for the ceremony are almost in the final stages. Prominent figures in India from the world of politics, sports, entertainment, and business have been invited to the grand event. Here's a look at the politicians who have been invited. While the temple trust has sent the invite to these politicians, not all have confirmed their presence.
Former Indian Prime minister Dr Manmohan Singh has been invited to the consecration ceremony.
Ex-deputy Prime Minister of India LK Advani and senior BJP leader Murli Manohar Joshi, who played prominent roles in the Ram temple movement, are also on the list.
Former prime minister HD Deve Gowda and his son and former Karnataka chief minister HD Kumaraswamy have also been invited.
