Lok Sabha Elections 2024 Full Schedule : 6 Key Points

18th Lok Sabha elections will be held in seven phases, between April 19 and June 1.

First phase: April 19; Second phase: April 26; Third phase: May 07; Fourth phase: May 13; Fifth phase: May 20; Sixth phase: May 25; Seventh phase: June 01

The results will be declared on June 4, 12 days before the term of the current House ends on June 16.

The Model Code of Conduct (MCC), which bars the government in power from announcing any new schemes, comes into effect immediately with the announcement of the poll schedule.

Assembly elections for Andhra Pradesh, Arunachal Pradesh, Odisha and Sikkim will also be held simultaneously.

Nearly 97 crore (970 million) people are eligible to cast vote in the upcoming Lok Sabha polls at 10.5 lakh polling stations.
