As per CNN's report, the newly-opened Surat Diamond Bourse is a 15-storey complex consisting of nine rectangular structures interconnected with a central "spine" and built across more than 35 acres of land.

The Surat building comprises over 7.1 million square feet of floor space, overtaking US Pentagon as the world's largest office building.

The CEO of Diamond Bourse building has claimed half of the building is cooled using natural ventilation, while common areas are powered using solar energy.
Green building
The building comprises marble floors and light-filled atriums connecting over 4,700 office spaces. The ₹32 billion project houses dining, retail, wellness, and conference facilities for workers along with 131 elevators.
