Ganesh Chaturthi is celebrated every year to worship Lord Ganesha. This year, the auspicious festival will be celebrated on September 19. 

Shree Siddhivinayak Ganapati Temple

The most famous temple of Lord Ganesh in India, Shree Siddhivinayak is located in Mumbai. It was built in 1801 and countless devotees visit the temple during the Ganesh Chaturthi celebrations. 

Mayureshwar Temple 

The temple is a part of Ashtavinayak temples and is situated in Pune. It is believed that the temple was built between the 14th and 17th centuries.

Moti Dungri Temple

Located in Jaipur, the Moti Dungri Temple is among the most revered in India. It was built in 1761 and is visited by many devotees of Lord Ganesha.

Pillayarpatti Karpaga Vinayagar Temple

It is believed that this cave temple was built by the Pandya dynasty of Madurai in the 7th century. The idol and temple are different in their way as they are carved from rocks, and the idol has two hands, not the usual four. 

Trinetra Ganesh Temple 

The temple is situated inside the historic Ranthambore Fort and was built in 1300 AD. It is said that Lord Ganesh appeared in the dream of King Hammiradeva and helped him win the war against the Delhi Sultanate.
