Chandrayaan-3 Successful! Check latest Pictures

It's time for celebration as India makes history. The Vikram lander of India's Chandryaan-3 successfully landed on the south pole of the moon on Wednesday (Aug 23) at 6:04 pm. 

This space mission has made India the first country in the world to land a spacecraft on the Moon’s south pole. Here are some latest pictures of the celebrations:

ISRO chief congratulates the team

The chief of the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) S Somanath congratulates his team on the successful landing of the Chandrayaan-3 mission.

PM Modi live from South Africa

During a live video call, the Prime Minister of India Narendra Modi congratulated Indians for the successful mission. He said, “When we see such historic moments, it makes us very proud. This is the dawn of new India. I thank ISRO and scientists, who have toiled for years, for this success.”

Team India 

Team India also congratulated ISRO. On X (formerly Twitter), the BCCI shared heartfelt wishes and congratulated the Chandrayaan-3 team.
