Indian Musical Instruments To Lead The Way
The Republic Day parade will begin with women artists playing traditional musical instruments such as Sankh and Nagada. Earlier the military bands used to lead the way.
Tri-Service Women Contingent To Participate
A 144-personnel tri-service women's contingent, with 48 members each from the Indian Army, Air Force, and the Indian Navy will join the parade.
'The Endless Thread' On Kartavya Path
A textile installation 'Anant Sutra: The Endless Thread' will be on Kartavya Path. The installation will show 1,900 sarees and drapes from all across India.
Debut of IAF C-295
The Indian Air Force's C-295 medium transport aircraft, inducted in September 2023, will debut over Kartavya Path's skies on Jan 26.
French Band Contingent
A 33-member French band contingent will be part of the Republic Day celebrations this year.
