Travelling to Ayodhya by air is the most swift way to reach the temple town. Ayodhya's Maharishi Valmiki International Airport is well-connected to major airports through recently launched direct flights from several cities. People can also reach from Gorakhpur, Prayagraj and Varanasi Airports.
Faizabad and Ayodhya are major railway stations of the district and are well-connected to almost all major cities and towns. The Indian Railways has also announced special trains apart from Vande Bharat and Amrit Bharat Express to reach Ayodhya.
Services of Uttar Pradesh Transport Corporation buses are available 24 hours a day, and it is very easy to reach here from all places. Buses are frequently available from Lucknow, Delhi and Gorakhpur. Buses are also available from Varanasi and Prayagraj as per their schedule.
International travellers can fly to New Delhi's Indira Gandhi International Airport or Mumbai's Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport and then connect to domestic flights or trains to reach Ayodhya. Several foreign airlines also offer direct connections to Lucknow.
