Rahul Gandhi

After the Amethi defeat of 2019, the fifth-generation dynast of Congress party's Nehru-Gandhi family seems to be losing his ground in Wayanad as well, where the CPI fielded its candidate in Feb 2024.

Priyanka Gandhi-Vadra

Rahul's sister remains ambiguous if at all she will contest the elections. After her mother Sonia Gandhi vacated Raebareli, it's unclear if there will be another Gandhi scion who will be fielded from Raebareli.

Supriya Sule

The breakup of Nationalist Congress Party has also broken the doors of Maharashtra's Baramati Lok Sabha seat off the 'safe' vault of the Pawar political dynasty. Sule's cousin Ajit Pawar is expected to field his wife from Baramati from the NCP faction he leads as part of the BJP-led NDA.

Harsimrat Kaur Badal

All the Badal's lost their respective seats in the 2022 state assembly elections in Punjab. The vote share of Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) remains at historic low. If Harsimrat is fielded from Bhatinda again, it will remain a tightly fought battle without any 'safe' seat status.

Jyotiraditya Scindia

The current Rajya Sabha MP, former member of parliament from Madhya Pradesh's Guna and scion of Scindia royal lineage, the union minister has been named as BJP's candidate from the constituency.
