Interim Budget 2024: India’s Grants and Loans to Foreign Nations

1. Afghanistan

India has allocated Rs 200 crore or $20 million in grants and loans for neighbouring Afghanistan in the Interim Budget 2024.

2. Bangladesh

In the Interim Budget 2024, Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman has earmarked Rs 120 crore or $12 million in grants and loans to Bangladesh.

3. Bhutan

India has allocated Rs 2068.56 crore, approximately $207 million, to Bhutan in grants and loans in the 2024-25 budget estimate.

4. Nepal

In the Interim Budget, India has allocated Rs 700 crore or $70 million in grants and loans to Nepal.

5. Maldives

The allocation for grants and loans to the Maldives in the Interim Budget 2024 is Rs 600 crore, which is nearly $60 million.

7. Mauritius

The Interim Budget has allocated Rs 370 crore in grants and loans to Mauritius. This is equivalent to nearly $37 million.

8. Myanmar

India has allocated Rs 250 crore or $25 million in grants and loans to Myanmar in the Interim Budget.

9. Chabahar Port

The Interim Budget 2024 also included an allocation of Rs 100 crore or $10 million for Chabahar Port.
