The Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) confirmed that India's solar mission performed its second Earth-bound manoeuvre successfully.
The Earth-bound manoeuvres are carried out from ISRO Telemetry, Tracking and Command Network (ISTRAC) situated in Bengaluru.
Aditya-L1 was launched successfully on September 2 aboard ISRO's Polar Satellite Launch Vehicle (PSLV) from Sriharikota in Andhra Pradesh.
The next Earth-bound manoeuvre is slated for September 10 around 2:30 hrs, Indian Standard Time (IST).
Aditya-L1 consists of seven payloads, with four of them carrying out remote sensing of the Sun and three of them carrying in-situ observations.
Aditya-L1, India's first solar mission, aims to unravel the dynamics and origins of coronal mass ejections, significantly contributing to our understanding of the sun's behaviour.
