The seat-sharing exercise between parties comprising the India National Democratic Alliance (INDIA) is producing results. Here's what it looks like for Congress ahead of elections later this summer.

AAP Comes Together For Congress

For Delhi, Congress and Aam Aadmi Party announced 3-4 split. Arvind Kejriwal's party will contest one seat in Haryana and two in Gujarat. While Chandigarh has been left for Congress.

Uttar Pradesh 'Boys' aka UP ke ladke

The deal with Rahul Gandhi's Congress party Samajwadi Party in Uttar Pradesh is even more significant. The SP will contest 63 seats while Congress will contest the remaining 17.

Bengal Boosting I.N.D.I.A.?

Trinamool Congress (TMC) chief and West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee remains the strongest player. Both Congress and the Communist Party (Maoist) are finding it difficult to negotiate for state's 42 seats.

Battle of Maharashtra

Reports claim that the Shivsena (Uddhav Balasaheb Thackeray) and Sharad Pawar's Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) have a deal for 39 of state's 48 Lok Sabha seats. The I.N.D.I.A. bloc believes it has a fighting chance in Maharashtra.
