Uttar Pradesh has the highest number of 80 Lok Sabha seats among all states. In 2019, out of 80 Lok Sabha seats, the BJP won 62. Apna Dal (S) won 2 seats. Congress won 1 seat. The Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP), and Samajwadi Party (SP) won 10 seats and 5 seats respectively.

Maharashtra has the second-highest number of Lok Sabha seats. BJP won 23 seats in 2019 elections followed by Shiv Sena with 18 seats. NCP and Congress won 4 and 1 seats respectively. AIMIM won 1 seat.

In West Bengal, polling will be conducted in all seven phases. In 2019, Trinamool Congress won 22 seats. BJP won 18 and Congress 2 seats.

Bihar which has 40 Lok Sabha seats, will hold voting in all seven phases. BJP with 17 seats won the most seats in 2019. JD(U) and LJP won 16 and 6 seats respectively. Congress won only 1 seat.

Tamil Nadu is scheduled to vote on April 19. In 2019, the Secular Progressive Alliance (SPA) led by DMK won 38 seats while NDA could only win 1 seat.
