1. 49 games unbeaten run

Arsene Wenger’s Arsenal went unbeaten for 49 successive league games between May 2003 and October 2004. 38 of these 49 league games came in the ‘Invincibles’ season as the Gunners went unbeaten in the entirety of the 2003-04 season.

2. Smallest title-winning margin

Sergio Aguero scored in the 94th minute of the final league match to hand Manchester City the title in the 2011-12 season. Manchester City won the title with a difference of 0 points and just a +8 goal difference.

3. Most points in a season without winning the title

The 2018-19 Premier League title was decided on the last day of the season. Manchester City won the title with 98 points to their name, while Liverpool ended the season with 97 points and missed out on the title just by one point at the end.

4. Most points in a season

Manchester City claimed 100 points in Premier League 2017-18. The citizens won 32 of the 38 Premier League games and lost just two games all season.

5. Best defensive season

Chelsea conceded just 15 goals during the entire 2004-05 Premier League campaign with Chelsea legendary goalkeeper Petr Cech keeping 24 clean-sheets that term.
