Make Delicious Star Fruit Chutney in 5 Simple Steps

Ingredients

Peel and chop star fruit, along with onions, garlic, ginger, and chillies. Gather spices like cumin, coriander, and mustard seeds.  

Cook

Saute onions, garlic and ginger in oil until softened. Add the chopped star fruit and cook for a few minutes.  

Add Spices and Sweetener

Stir in your spices, brown sugar or jaggery and a splash of vinegar for balance.

Simmer the Chutney

Allow the mixture to cook on low heat, stirring occasionally, until it thickens to your desired consistency.

Cool and Store

Let the chutney cool, then transfer to sterilised jars. Refrigerate and enjoy within a few weeks.
