Make Coconut Rice in 5 Simple Steps

Saute Nuts and Seeds

Heat oil in a pan, add peanuts and saute. Then add mustard seeds and cumin seeds, and saute together.

Add Legumes and Spices

Add soaked chana and urad dal, and saute everything well. Then add curry leaves, whole red chilli and green chilli, and saute again.

Add Cashews and Coconut

Stir in cashews, salt, and grated coconut, mixing thoroughly.

Add Cooked Rice

Add the cooked rice to the pan, mix well and cook for a few minutes to combine the flavours.

Serve 

Serve the coconut rice hot.
