Soak 1 cup of dry red lentils (masoor dal) for 4-6 hours, then blend into a smooth batter.
Mix in chopped onions, green chillies, coriander, ginger, cumin, turmeric, and salt.
Preheat a non-stick pan and grease it lightly with oil or ghee.
Pour batter onto the pan, spreading it into a circle. Cook until bubbles form, then flip till it turns brown on both sides.
Serve hot with chutney, yoghurt, or salad for a delicious meal.
