How to Make Perfect Creamy Mashed Potatoes

Step 1

Peel and cut 3 large potatoes and boil them in a pot of salted water.

Step 2

Once the water is boiled, reduce the heat, cover and let it simmer for about 20-25 minutes.

Step 3

Check if the potatoes are tender and drain them. Dry the potatoes by turning on high heat for about 30 seconds then turn the heat off.

Step 4

Mash the potatoes and add 1/2 cup whole milk and 1/4 cup butter. Mash and mix well until smooth and fluffy.

Step 5

Season it with salt and ground black pepper, and mix again. Serve!
