Here are five simple steps to make a delicious overnight oats bowl for a quick morning breakfast.

Step 1: Gather Your Base Ingredients

Half a cup of rolled oats, half a cup of milk (dairy or plant-based) or an equal amount of cup yoghurt, one tablespoon of chia seeds, a pinch of salt and honey or maple syrup.

Step 2: Mix the Base

Combine oats and milk in a jar or container. Stir in chia seeds and salt. Make sure oats are fully covered with liquid.

  Step 3: Add Sweetener and Flavouring

Add one or two teaspoons of honey and maple syrup. Sprinkle cinnamon or cocoa powder and mix well.

Step 4: Store Properly

Seal the container tightly and place it in the refrigerator. Let it sit for at least six hours.

Step 5: Add Toppings Before Eating

Add fresh fruits or nuts, seeds or even granola for crunch and to your liking.
